Date Validation Properties Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to define validation methods for date fields.

Date Formatter

Choose a date formatter from the list. It is used to reformat the date before the

validation check is performed and to provide the field’s DateValue property.

Warning Select a date formatter for the validation methods to be sure that the

DateVaue is available, otherwise this may cause a script error.

Reference Date

A reference date can be set that is used as a baseline to compare with the date found

on the document.

Options

You can compare the date value found on the document against the reference date to

see if it falls within an acceptable date range. You can also allow empty date fields.
